Enterprise resource planning systems hold vast amounts of operational data, but extracting actionable insights remains a challenge for most teams. Vertical Bar was built to bridge this gap using AI-driven natural language querying.

The system allows users to ask questions in plain language and receive structured answers derived from their ERP data. By leveraging Text2SQL and contextual understanding, Vertical Bar turns complex database queries into intuitive conversations.

During development, we encountered significant challenges with model hallucination—the AI would sometimes reference columns or tables that didn't exist in the schema. This experience shaped our approach to validation and error handling throughout the product.
